Religion or Humanity - The choice is yours !!

An open letter to all social media accounts who are into business of creating religious chaos and to people who gets influenced by them. 

To all "so-called" secular and non-seculars, 

Sharing posts about Hindus and Muslims day-and-night is not going to save the country and world from this pandemic and many more to come. 

The only thing that can save us is humanity and if any religion (by this I mean any religion) is teaching its preachers to keep the religion above humanity and above country, then they are pathetic, no matter of which religion they are. 

The so-called liberals who keep sharing the posts of Hindus helping Muslims and Muslims helping Hindus (muslims going to temple, hindus giving shelter to muslims, muslim giving shelter to hindus etc) need to understand that you are only praising one or the other religion and giving a chance to ugly mindsets to turn it around. 

The moment you share these posts you give a religious label to a persons good/bad deed. Being secular means when you judge a person without thinking about his religion. So if a person helps someone, he/she is a great human, no matter what his/her religion is. 

A rapist doesn't have any religion, and if you even talk about his religion then you have an ill mind as all I could think of is that he is not even human and deserves death. 

Look at our army officers, doctor and police officers whose only religion is to perform duty for their country and humanity. 

But for all those communities whose sole aim is to get their religion on top and rule, you are a disgrace to human species. 

And if more than 50% people of a particular community have such beliefs, there is something terribly wrong with their teachings as I don't believe any religion means forcing it on others. 

Though I always believed one should never generalize, now I think turning a blind eye to it is also not going to help. 

So if a community is teaching that religion is above your country, it is the duty of all educated and open-minded individuals to come forward and save humanity instead of blindly following the pathetic preachers of their religion. 

I have decided that I am going to boycott any news and social media posts that specify the religion of a person and you should too. 

Please bring down all the social media accounts whose only goal is to create religious chaos. #boycottreligiousposts
